Really enjoyed this piece! This is not a take I usually see about AI art because most people (myself included) tend to be a bit negative. But, I suspect that just like how photography changed how people paint, AI is also going to drastically change how people think about art as well.
I honestly can’t blame most people for being negative! Many AI users are flooding the internet (especially art spaces) with generic, thoughtless crap at the push of a button, thinking their one-prompt generations put them on par with someone who’s been honing manual skills for years. I resent these people no less, seeing how much they’ve tarnished the idea of using AI in art.
